Archival assistance: Over the years, The Sarai Programme’s various initiatives, projects and fellowship programmes, such as Media City, Cybermohalla (neighbourhood media labs), urban cultures, and the Sarai-CSDS Fellowship Programme (2002-2007) have built a rich archive of field notes, government reports, images, film and trade magazines and periodicals (Screen, Cable Quest, The Theatre World, Nirala Patrika, Showtime, Playback And Fast Forward, Cinema in India, TV and Video World among many others) posters, comics and newspaper clippings.

With a view to restructure the Archive section on the Sarai website and make the material available to a larger public through online and offline access, we also invite applications for internships to help reorganize and catalogue the existing archive.

Interested applicants are requested to send the following documents to dak[at]sarai[dot]net with ‘Application for Internship’ as the subject header:

Comprehensive CV.

Written works that demonstrate research experience/interests of the applicant.

A one page Statement of Purpose outlining why you would like to intern at Sarai.
